Hunting near houses

You can't carry weapons loaded near buildings since it's illegal. The only way it's legal is if the owner of the house or building gives you permission to hunt there.

Loaded fire arms can't be carried within 450ft of a building.

A loaded crossbow or bow can't be carried within 150ft of a building.

This page will be about rules for hunting in N.J. So, it will talk about the time you can shoot. What weapons you need for each season and etc.

Rules for Hunting in N.J

Permits/Licenses

You must have permits for each animal you are hunting. You also, need to have your license on you when you're hunting at all times just in case if the game warden comes to check you. That's so they know that you passed your test to shoot the weapon you are shooting (in NJ you can only get license for bow, musselloader, and shotgun, pistol if you are handycapped.) Also, If you have permits you can tag animals, and you must tag or record each animal you kill other wise its elegal. PS Permits and licences both cost money.

What you must wear

You must have blaze orange on you or around you. From example for upland hunting a blaze orange hat or a vest. also, if you are in a ground blind you can put a blaze orange hat on top. And if you are in a tree stand you might put one near you or up in there with you.

Something for Non - Hunters

There is a law called Hunter Harassment. What it is if you try to annoy a hunter, or ruin the hunt and make sure no animals come around. If you do this you will get in trouble and the game warden might give you a fine.

N.J Laws

N.J is one of the most strict states when it comes to their gun laws. So, my advice is to follow those laws. And, these were only some of the laws shown I didnt even get 1/3 of them there.
