​ Hunting in N.J

For all upland game

​

 Upland game is birds like Pheasants, Chuckers, Quails, Grouse, the native bird the Wood Cock, and etc. You will need boots so you can go through things like mud without ruining your shoes. You will also need blaze orange hats, and vests so other people can see you and you dont get shot by accident. Also, with that vest you want one of those cubby holders in the back so you can put birds you shot there. You want brush pants too so when you go threw thorns you dont get cut and ripped up. You want some gloves to just so your hands don't get cold. Finally, you want something like a sweat shirt or a shirt and pants under all of that.  

 

 For this you always want a knive. The shot gun size I would recommend is nothing bigger than a 16 gage or 20 gage since other wize you would just blow the bird into pieces. And no matter were you go hunting you always need amo so you need amo.

Duck and Goose Hunting

​

 For Duck and Goose hunting you will need the following. You will need waders so your boots don't come off if they get stuck. You need a heavy hunting jacket since it gets cold. You need gloves too to keep your hands warm. Then you want some camo pants so you blend in. Also, you need a face mask so your face is covered up a little so its hard for the ducks to see you and PS all this gear sould be in camo. Finally, you want some clothes under thatb like a sweat shirt and etc. 

 

 You should bring a knife. You need a duck boat so you can get in and out of the swamp. You need a shotgun I would recomend 20 - a 12 gage since other wise it would be to hard to kill them with anything less than 20. And you always need amo, and calls.

Big Game

​

 Big game is like deer, turkey, coyote, and etc. You will need a heavy hunting jacket so you don't get cold. You need a face mask to block out your face so its hard for the animals to see you. You need boots so your shoes wont get dirty and ruined. You will also need gloves so your hands don't get cold. You need camo pants camoed like the rest of your gear. And I would suggest that you wear something  under that gear so you don't get cold.

 

 You should bring a knife. You will also need a shotgun I suggest a 12 gage and up. And you may need a bow/crowsbow or a mussil loader depending on the time of the hunting season. And finally you will always need arrows or amo, and you always need calls for big game hunting different ones depending on what you are hunting though.
